Cicada 3301 is a nickname given to an organization that on three occasions has posted a set of puzzles to recruit codebreakers from the public.

The book series consists of three separate books from different years; 2012,2016, and 2019. 

The first book, featured in this series, is designed with French folds, cleverly concealing information within its pages to reflect the secretive essence of the organization. Printed on 45 GSM paper, the design evokes the texture and appearance of computer log paper while adding an ephemeral layer—the ink is designed to wear off with handling and time, symbolizing the transient and elusive nature of Cicada 3301’s puzzles.
